My debut novel, “Red Gold” received the Tony Hillerman Award for Best Fiction of 2015, and won Best Mystery of 2015, and Best eBook at the New Mexico/Arizona Book Awards. “Red Gold” is the first novel in the Gabe McKenna Mystery series from Black Range Media. Its sequel, “Get Lost,” was selected Best Mystery and Best eBook at the 2016 NM/AZ Book Awards. The third Gabe McKenna Mystery, “Cut.Print.Kill.” made its debut on September 5, 2017 and was selected as Best Action/Adventure novel of 2018 at the NM/AZ Book Competition. My fourth Gabe McKenna novel, "Midnight Blues" debuted in October of 2018. I'm a proud member of Southwest Writers, Military Writers of America, Western Writers of America and the International Thriller Writers organizations. My wife Annette and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with creatures large and small. I have two daughters, a grandson, and granddaughter.
